Summary:The automation engineer will be involved in designing, programming, simulating and testing automated processes and machinery, followed by creating detailed documentation or manuals for the fully functional projects.Project Details:Review and analyze user storiesProvide work estimates for testing user storiesDevelop robust automated test scripts based on input from, and in partnership with the QA Functional testersResolve script failures during development and executionIdentify and raise risks as early as possible in the system development life cycleCommunicate effectively in both verbal (day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written forms (test artifacts).Identify and log defects, work with development to resolve, and verify fixes when implementedMaintenance of scripts to keep up with changing business needsJob Experience:BS/BA in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years in QA automation testingEfficiency and knowledge of how automation is performed within such a projectProven experience working with SeleniumHands-on experience testing applications developed on multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)Ability to perform to a reasonable standard of output as a member of a highly productive and collaborative teamStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAgility to shift priorities and multi-task based on business needsExceptional analytical and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of database concepts with the ability to create simple queriesOxford is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
