Description

The Special Loans Processor is responsible for managing and efficiently processing department duties and tasks over various functions including assumptions, recasts, construction loans, renovation loans, ARM loans, etc. The role requires high attention to detail and prioritization skills, knowledge of loan servicing, ability to manage large volumes, and understanding of compliance and industry regulations. The processor will work closely with internal teams, legal departments, and external clients to ensure efficient servicing and resolution of these loans.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives, reviews and evaluates requests received regarding Special Loans functions following the necessary procedures
  • Maintains and follows procedures outlined by the investors and/or clients
  • Obtains and reviews information needed to process Subordinations, Easements, Partial Releases, Assumptions, as well as any other requests pertaining to the Special Loans area
  • Processes maintenance in ARM, Balloon, Construction, Renovation and other workstations as required
  • Responds to internal/external clients and/or borrowers regarding Special Loans requests
  • Completes tasks within department and investor guidelines
  • Adapts to change productively
  • Handles other essential tasks as assigned
  • Assist in developing job aides and procedural updates as needed
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

  • MSP platform
  • Flexibility with scheduling on a day-to-day basis, including extended hours and/or Weekends
