The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing key human resource functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, leave management, and performance management. We are seeking an experienced HR professional who will drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, align performance with business goals, and ensure a positive workplace culture. The Senior HR Generalist will partner with managers and employees to provide hands-on support and strategic guidance on a variety of HR-related matters. This position is fully remote and reports directly to the Associate Director of Human Resources.ResponsibilitiesOversee employee benefits programs, with assistance from vendors, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, disability, and other voluntary benefits.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.Monthly audit of benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.Responsible for managing open annual enrollment process and communicating benefits information to employees through various channels.Serve as subject matter expert on federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits and LOA management.Manage and facilitate leave of absence programs and provide guidance to employees/managers with regards to policies, eligibility, and procedures for LOA.Ensure timely processing of LOA requests and maintain accurate LOA tracking records. Monitor leave usage to ensure compliance with federal and state leave laws.Coordinate with HR and Payroll to ensure data integrity and efficient HR administration within our HRIS.Assist with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.Provide guidance and support to managers on handling employee performance issues, workplace conflicts, and team dynamics.Execute employee offboarding meetings.Assist with the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.Partner with managers to ensure performance evaluations are timely, accurate, and aligned with business goals.Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and spreadsheet ownership and data quality.Support other functions as assigned.Requirements4+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity, with expertise in benefits administration, employee relations, leave management, and performance management.Strong working knowledge of employment laws, leave regulations, and benefits compliance.Demonstrated experience in managing complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee matters with discretion.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.Experience in a multi-state workforce.Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) are highly preferred.BenefitsWORKING AT VATICA HEALTH ADVANTAGESProsperityCompetitive salary based on your experience and skills – we believe the top talent deserves the top dollarBonus Potential – if you go above and beyond, you should be rewarded401k plans– we want to empower you to prepare for your futureRoom for growth and advancement- we love our employees and want to develop withinGood HealthComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plansTax-free Dependent Care Account and Flexible Spending AccountLife insurance, short-term, and long-term disabilityHappinessExcellent PTO policy (everyone deserves a vacation now and then)Great work-life balance environment- We believe family comes first!Strong supportive teams- There is always a helping hand when you need itThe salary for a position is typically determined by multiple factors such as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $64,000 to $85,000 (annualized USD). However, this estimate represents just one aspect of our total compensation package offered.
