**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist - RRT

**Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years required; must have completed at least one 13-week assignment
**License:** LA State Licensure required
**Certifications:**
- BLS required
- NRP required
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
- National Accreditation through NBRC required
**Must-Have:**
- Must be comfortable with attending high-risk deliveries
- Experience in supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU
- Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
**Job Description:**
- Must float to all facilities, with each location approximately 20-25 minutes apart
- Work through emergency departments, intensive care units, stepdown units, and medical/telemetry units
- Involvement in high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal support if necessary
- Manage airway and ventilator, perform ABG puncture and analysis, and provide non-invasive ventilation
- Participate in Code Blue and rapid response, and administer inhaled medications including nitric oxide
- Use of various equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, and NICU-specific devices
- Flexibility required to float throughout four campuses during the contract
- Orientation involves 2 days for system introduction and facility orientation
- Shift scheduling options include 7 on/7 off, 3/2, or 5/2 rotations
- Weekend rotation every other weekend, with potential for additional hours if approved
- Scrub color is pewter
