SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are looking for that special person who is friendly and personable in greeting our patients, who feels comfortable in one-on-one conversations answering their questions and transmitting our providers' instructions. Front and back office duties daily. Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles to other office locations if needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Help checking in patients.
  • Answer our patients' questions or concerns.
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
  • Prepares patients for cosmetic procedures, MOHS procedures.
  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.
  • Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about surgery.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel.
  • Delivers quality customer service and maintains established quality control standards.
  • Shows patients to exam rooms according to company standards.
  • Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Processes appropriate documents in an organized and accurate fashion.
  • Respects patient confidentiality always.
  • Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms and sterilizes instruments.
