Duties and Responsibilities
As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the PBEnergyLab, you will play a vital role in advancing the research agenda. Your responsibilities will include:
- The experimental synthetic development
- Characterization and electrochemical performance testing of the inorganic solid electrolytes, along with engaging scientific communities for feedback.
- Supervise master and undergraduate students from various science programs at LUC.
- Develop technologies to optimize the operating conditions of Na- or Li-ion batteries and re-designing SEIs.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
PhD required in related field.
Qualifications
- PhD degree completed in a related discipline
- Extensive expertise in the areas of Electrochemistry techniques. Slurry processing, HS and Coin cell fabrication and testing (LIBs and SIBs), PEIS and DEIS, CV, CC/CV cycling, SOH estimation etc. under anaerobic environment are required skills. Characterization skills (SEM, NMR, TGA, Raman) and syntheses experience with solid or liquid electrolytes are a plus but not strictly required for this position.
