Who we are looking for

We are in search of a driven and results-focused individual to join our business development team. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities for the design, engineering, and manufacturing of skid or palletized manufacturing systems in the chemical, petrochemical, and hydrogen/clean tech industries. This role requires a strong understanding of one or more of these industries, and a demonstrated history of selling complex processing systems and equipment.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients who utilize, or may utilize, palletized or skid-based processing equipment.
  • Leverage various channels to generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to negotiate and finalize contracts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to promote awareness of our capabilities.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to maintain accurate information regarding your sales pipeline.

What you bring to the team

  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in business development or technical sales in relevant industries.
  • BS degree in an engineering or technical field. Advanced technical degree and/or MBA preferred.
  • Deep understanding of industrial automation systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Established history of enhancing business growth and finalizing complex transactions.
  • Well-established professional network within relevant industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies for revenue growth.
  • Collaborative and adept at working in cross-functional teams.

Location Requirements

The job may be located anywhere in the Eastern U.S., preferably in or near a region that is active in the targeted industries. Frequent travel to various sites will be required.

Compensation

Base Salary Range $150K - $170K. Annual Bonus and Long Term Incentive Plan.
