Job Summary:
We are seeking a Strategic Materials Sourcing Director to join our team on-site in Tamarac, FL. This role is pivotal in delivering procurement savings, defining strategic account plans, and providing deep market insights to drive meaningful business outcomes. You will lead the development of sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and foster innovation in procurement practices, all while aligning with ASC Global's business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage sourcing strategies by conducting market research and analysis.
- Develop sourcing plans that align with business goals and utilize current trends.
- Lead supplier selection, relationship management, and contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and added value.
- Work with internal teams to ensure sourcing priorities match business strategies and goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in sourcing activities.
- Conduct training across the company on the strategic sourcing process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain management or related field.
- 8+ years of implementing supply strategies.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and supplier relationship management.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking to identify and solve complex sourcing problems.
