We launched our checking account + debit card product in Q4’21 and are growing very quickly - we need your help to continue creating an amazing experience for our customers.

Here are some things you’ll do on the job:

You’ll plan, direct, and coordinate all operational accounting functions, including: bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, banking & cash management, taxes, contract reviews/approvals, and cap table management.
You’ll implement an accounting system that will support us as we continue to scale.
You’ll prepare internal and external financial statements.
You’ll prepare Seis for its first audit & manage us through the process.
You’ll work closely with partners and vendors, ensuring settlements are handled timely and are reconciled.
You’ll work closely with leadership and have a voice in important financial decisions.
You’ll understand the financials of a company in order to meet legal/regulatory requirements and keep the financial state in good standing.
You’ll be an expert in the technical accounting relevant to banking and financial services.
You’ll implement and evaluate accounting and internal control systems.

You’ll know you’re successful when:

We have the accounting/reporting infrastructure necessary to enable scale without slowing us down.
You understand our financials so deeply that you raise the warning flags well in advance of the issue.
The books are closed in a timely manner, reviewed and audited.
We pass our first audit with flying colors!

About you

You have 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
You have deep technical accounting expertise in banking / financial services.
You have an urgency about you, and understand that speed is a foundational pre-requisite for the company to grow fast.
You are an extreme owner and results oriented - you make things happen and don’t make excuses.
You are an optimizer - using numbers & data to constantly improve, find new ways to win, etc.
You have familiarity with banking products such as ACH, International Wires, SWIFT, checks, and debit/credit cards.
