The Senior Account Manager Responsible for the sale of products in a defined geographical district (or market segment) and for the development and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall business unit sales strategy. Responsible for supporting sales representatives and key account colleagues in the management of key client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers.

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science or a related discipline with a minimum 10 years of Sales experience – preferably in the Food ingredient industry. Recognized and respected by major food/beverage customers.

    Strong leadership and managerial skills. Proven ability to lead, develop and empower talented sales professionals.

    Excellent business analytical skills, a solid business acumen and awareness of key customer financial and economic drivers.

    Solid track record of delivering strong results year over year.

    Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels of the organization.

    Prior experience in managing risk, complex problem resolution, dealing with ambiguity and making sound decisions.

    Creative thinker, able to inspire change with a team, challenge the status quo and break down barriers to execution.

    Ability to operate with agility, adapt quickly and elevate team members’ capabilities.
