Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our innovative technology team. As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic data modeling that aligns with our overall technology environment and business objectives. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our company's data architecture. This role involves working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other technology leaders to ensure optimal data quality and integrity, and interfacing with other technology teams and business owners to define and provide solutions. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic data architecture and governance, data management, data privacy, data security, and procedures that meet the company's performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to identify opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
- Design and implement complex database models, data standards, and metadata management.
- Ensure that the data strategy and architecture support the business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with IT teams and data scientists to improve data productivity and processes.
- Ensure data architectures are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Design and build scalable, high-performance data structures.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Identify the causes of poor data quality, implement solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the data management team, assisting with troubleshooting and system performance improvements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or a similar role in data architecture or data management.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL, Epic Cogito, and Epic Caboodle.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale data structures and pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data management, data privacy, and data security.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
