Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are partnering with our Tualatin, OR distribution client to recruit a Director of Marketing to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a strategic role but is best suited for a leader comfortable digging into the weeds of the work when necessary. You will be responsible for managing a small team of marketing and creative staff in functions across digital marketing, content creation, asset development, design and similar projects, with a big focus on sales enablement. You'll play a critical role in the leadership of the department and organization, working consistently with other department leads to collaborate on overall company direction and strategy. To be a fit, you should bring a track record of marketing success in a B2B environment, with experience in a relevant space of distribution, logistics or other B2B products/services. Experience directly managing a a small team, with experience planning strategic growth, hiring and managing performance, is required. A deep understanding of lead generation and digital marketing practices is a must, along with a track record of working closely with sales teams.

This is a permanent opportunity with compensation ranging from $110-125K annually, with potential for some flexibility for a perfect match. This is a primarily onsite role in Tualatin, OR, with some flexibility for occasional remote work.


You will:

  • Maintain a pulse on company positioning across digital and traditional brand channels, providing insight into findings and consistently identifying opportunities for growth and evolution
  • Guide digital and traditional marketing programs, including SEO and web content strategy, integrated digital marketing campaigns, sales support and enablement, asset creation and other similar branding efforts
  • Serve as a key strategic leader for the organization, working with cross-functional teams and company leadership to scope growth strategy as a marketing SME
  • Manage a small team of marketing and creative staff, overseeing performance, team growth, hiring and more
  • Develop marketing programs and campaigns that increase brand reach, awareness and new business opportunity


Your experience should include:

  • Track record of both tactical and strategic marketing in a distribution or similar B2B business model
  • 3+ years of dedicated people management experience, including hiring, performance management and similar responsibilities
  • In-depth experience collaborating with sales teams and enabling new business growth via marketing campaigns, partnership and strategy
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, highly preferred but flexible
  • Excellent technical capability with proficiency in Salesforce, required
  • Additional technical knowledge and experience in email marketing, CMS platforms, design tools and similar
