As the Product Support Manager of Intellectual Property (IP), you will help maintain and refine the functionality of our IP product features within our Safety platform. These products are used by our global IP Operations team to protect the intellectual property rights of owners, developers, creators, users, and their content. You'll use data-driven techniques, advanced process improvement and legal and policy expertise to ensure that we align with Roblox's obligations, while facilitating happy rights holders, creators, users, and partners. You will integrate with safety product partners to improve safety workflows and scale new safety features for some of the most exciting up and coming Roblox products.

You will report to the Senior Director of Safety Operations, but will also work closely and collaborate with Legal, Developer Relations, Trust & Safety Product and Engineering, InfoSec, and Marketing teams.

You Will:

  • Manage and refine the workflows for our IP product and processes to ensure timely and effective responses to IP related concerns
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in our IP enforcement processes, and collaborate to implement solutions that improve the protection of IP across the platform
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure that IP protection features are being developed and implemented
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to IP enforcement, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our operations
  • Use data-driven strategies and well-defined metrics to measure your team's success, identify trends, optimize team workflows, and drive improvements
  • Work with the Legal, Developer Relations, InfoSec, and Marketing teams, as well as our global group of IP Ops Team Leads to ensure team and company objectives are met

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management or product support, with a focus on content safety or Intellectual Property enforcement workflows
  • Strong program management skills, with 2+ years experience leading projects at scale
  • Experience developing processes and to improve operational efficiency and using data to lead decision making
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross functionally specifically with legal, product, engineering, and BPO workforces
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, operations, or equivalent experience

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range:

$177,400 — $211,290 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters: are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
