Press Operators

Press Brake Operators needed in North Houston! Apply Now!
Pay: $18.00-$24.00/hr. (Depending on Experience)
Second Shift: 2:30pm to 10:30pm or 12:30am depending on production needs
Location : 45 North and Airtex Area
MUST BE ABLE TO READ BLUEPRINTS, and work with Material such as Sheet Metal.
Press Brake Operator Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, deburring, and inspection of parts to assure conformance will be required.
• Performs all tasks assigned for press brake setup and operation.
• Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.
• Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations.
• Sets stops on machine bed, changes die, and adjusts components, such as ram or power press, when making multiple or successive passes.
• Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.
• Plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of physical properties of metal.
• Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs.
• During operations, operator will be required to maintain cleanliness of the machine.
• In process checks will be required by the operator to maintain all required tolerances and quality.
• Perform inspection of finished workpiece for defects and document results.

Press Brake Operator Requirements:

• Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of
• Ability to calculate, blank sizes, bend locations, appropriate tonnage, and tooling for
• each part being formed.
• Able to read both metric and standard tape measures, as well as precision hand tools such as squares, protractors, and calipers.
