Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Builder: Forge strong, collaborative connections with our customer’s engineering, purchasing, and key team members, becoming the go-to resource for all project-related inquiries.
  • Value Stream Partner: Work hand-in-hand with the Value Streams to provide essential guidance and technical support throughout the fabrication process, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Process Optimizer: Keep the project on track by monitoring progress and making strategic adjustments to enhance efficiency, boost gross margins, and elevate quality standards.
  • Quality Guardian: Review kickbacks and customer returns as they arise, implementing process improvements and preventative actions while utilizing GD&T and critical dimensions to ensure excellence.
  • PMP Estimation Collaborator: Lead the PMP Estimation meetings, guaranteeing that our manufacturing plans align perfectly with customer specifications and expectations.
  • Tolerance Advisor: Collaborate closely with customers to discuss tolerances and manufacturability, providing expert advice on necessary changes to meet their precise requirements.


Qualifications:

  • An AS degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Advanced CAD, or 5 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in roles such as Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, with a knack for turning complex data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards that drive project success.
