Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst, Sales to join our FP&A Team. In this pivotal role you will leverage your analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions that enhance sales performance and optimize revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership to provide insights into market trends, customer trends and pipeline evaluation.
This position will ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, State Departments of Health, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), EMEA and FDA Guidelines, general State and Country Regulations such as but not limited to (CLIA, CAP, USP, ISO 9001, USDA regulations, HTA license, DEA and State Controlled Substance programs) where site appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Commercial Analysis

  • Analysis of closed/won sales pipeline including new customer generation, conversion rate, sales cycle length and other KPIs
  • Analyze and report trends in lost business by product line and customer
  • Provide companywide price volume mix analysis and insight
  • Provide reporting and analysis on sales channel KPIs
Customer Analysis
  • Detailed reporting on global key accounts revenue, opportunities, losses and forecasts
  • Collaboration with sales team on initiatives and forecasting for key business specific accounts
  • Gap analysis of customer spending trends
  • Collaboration with marketing and scientific affairs to estimate available customer opportunity for key accounts
Other Duties
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of sales data used for analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with sales team to provide financial insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Manage and conduct special and ad hoc analysis as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a sales-focused role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including knowledge of formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience utilizing data visualization tools (Experience creating Power BI data visualizations preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics software (SalesForce.com preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in private equity or fast growth environment

A full-time Monday through Friday workweek with general business hours and flexibility to occasionally work additional hours as needed and approved by management.
