The Marriott Griffin Gate Resort and Spa is seeking a skilled bartender to join our Restaurant Lunch service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious cocktails and providing exceptional customer service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beer and wine, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure that customers are of legal drinking age
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that guests receive prompt and efficient service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
