Financial Analyst

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst contractor.

This is a contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and review quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) financial statements filed with the SEC, including support workpapers for internal and external audit review
• Support other external reporting requirements, such as annual proxy statement, quarterly earnings release, supplemental slides, etc.
• Participate in XBRL tagging efforts
• Support quarterly global balance sheet analytics process, working closely with global business segment leaders
• Own certain global corporate accounting processes; record journal entries to reflect current period activity
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with a minimum 3-5 years of experience
• CPA required (or CPA in progress)
