Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of SQL database experience
- Strong SQL Skills including experience writing views, stored procedures and SQL Server Agent jobs
- Strong, practical experience with Microsoft BI including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Solutions for BI DW Environments, including SQL Server 2008, DTS Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services, and Multidimensional OLAP Reporting tools, SQL Profiler, BIDS 2008, E/R Studio
- Experience with Master Data Management architecture, tools and principles a plus
- Thorough understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL
- Working knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Have working understanding of data and its exchange with other systems
- Create SSIS and SSAS packages
- Proven strength in SSRS Report generation and familiar with different workarounds
- Must be aware of SSRS Subscription and Auto generation of Reports
- SharePoint Integration points among these technologies will be a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration, performs backup and recovery on DBMS and configure database parameters, along with related activities
- Provide general software development services for SharePoint, specifically, develop using Microsoft BI SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS technologies
- Manage and maintain all production and non-production databases, provide support to network administration, perform data modeling, develop tables for databases, develop applications for web-based applications, and provide design, programming, and testing services
- Delivery of business intelligence solutions and ongoing development and maintenance of existing applications developed on SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Provide input into the logical design and development of data models
- Identify ways of improving information delivery, data capture and design and business process through the provision of technical solutions
- Present a professional, competent, and confident image in dealing with users as well as the BI team and other Teams within IT
