Position : Clinical Laboratory Manager
Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid)
Pay: $40/hour
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a CLIA/CAP lab.
- 2 years of clinical hematology experience if you have a Bachelors Degree
- 4 years of management experience
Education:
- BS/BA/MS degree in laboratory science or related field.
- Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by ASCP or NCA.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (occasional weekends as needed)
Greene Resources is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Oversee and manage biospecimen activities for CLIA-certified Mobile Examination Centers (MEC).
- Supervise sample collection, processing, and shipping per regulatory requirements.
- Manage clinical data in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Perform quality control and assurance tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate study operations (staffing, scheduling, budgets, etc.).
Position Requirements:
- Clinical laboratory experience (CLIA/CAP certified labs).
- Familiarity with LIMS, specimen handling, and clinical data management.
- Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and adaptability.
