High Country Community Health (HCCH) is recruiting a Director of Pediatrics (DoP) for our expanding team . In this newly created position, the DoP will be responsible for providing direct patient care along with clinical oversight of pediatric medical services at HCCH. Highlights include:

  • Located in the heart of North Carolinas Blue Ridge Mountains, HCCH is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides compassionate, high-quality care to vulnerable individuals and families in our region, regardless of economic status.
  • The DoP will have a split schedule consisting of 3 days/week direct patient care and 2 days/week administrative.
  • This is an outpatient only practice with Monday-Friday schedule.
  • In addition to clinical care, responsibilities include supervising pediatric APPs, creating policies and procedures that best serve pediatric patients at all HCCH sites, reviewing quality metrics, and assisting in the growth/expansion of pediatric services.
