Job Description
Pangiam is seeking a Senior full stack software developer to lead the development of our commercial cloud-based web application. The responsibilities include managing an agile team to deliver new capabilities while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to our commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy new and existing software and web applications.
- Build prototypes, proof of concepts and support R&D efforts.
- Provide the technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving backend issues.
- Isolate performance issues and analyze bottlenecks.
- Design robust APIs to support external systems, web, and mobile applications.
- Define external interfaces and manage the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Maintain and enhance API documentation of backend web services.
- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud.
- Develop and maintain full unit test coverage for critical components.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Work closely with the product manager, business analyst, and chief architect to develop the technical design and solutions.
- Coordinate with other team members to provide the deliverable end-product.
- Design and implement high availability services with disaster recovery plans.
- Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including releases and deployment.
- Stay up to date with current best practices.
- Coach and mentor other peer team members.
- Support customer and integrator meetings.
Qualifications
- Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web services design.
- Experience writing highly secure serverless cloud-based applications that leverage Infrastructure as Code approach using AWS core technologies: Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, CloudWatch, etc.
- Quick problem-solving skills with exceptional aptitude and reasoning.
- Familiar with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Proven work experience of 5-9 years in a similar or related field.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Additional Information
Education:
A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with applicable experience is required. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
