Remote Credit Analyst

If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for the financial industry, we want to hear from you!Position OverviewAs a Credit Analyst, you will:
- Perform Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit analysis, real estate market, and industry research to support our commercial and business lenders.
- Prepare Documentation: Create detailed credit memoranda and annual review documents for loan approval and file maintenance, ensuring compliance with NCUA regulations and our credit union loan policy.
- Identify Risks and Mitigations: Spot policy exceptions and key credit risks on loan requests, and recommend appropriate risk grades and mitigations.
- Support Loan Closings: Occasionally prepare loan documents for loan closings.
- Represent Our Company: Act as a professional representative in the local community and with member credit unions and their personnel.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education, work experience, and related training.
- Experience: At least 2 years of Commercial Credit Analysis experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, negotiating, analytical, and credit skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of Laser Pro loan documents is a plus.
