Opportunities & Responsibilities:

• New teammate will be a critical member of KWC’s investment and operating team, supporting senior members of the family office and portfolio company management teams, and providing in depth strategic and financial analysis to support business and investment decisions
• Primary focus within the hotel real estate and hospitality sector, with supplementary exposure to other industries via family office private equity investment arm
• Expected to provide initial review and screening of prospective investment opportunities for the company, in addition to detailed review of business, financial and legal diligence items during deal phase
• Extensive financial modeling experience required, including sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment diligence and decisions
• Opportunities to assist in preparation and presentation of investment memorandums for the firm’s Investment Committee, in addition to quarterly and bi-annual reporting materials for existing portfolio investors
• Engagement with operating company leadership teams to conduct financial and strategic analysis to advance and scale portfolio company businesses
• Participate in negotiations on behalf of the company through the sourcing and diligence process, including operating, financing, and legal diligence items
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry, trade and financing professionals to enhance visibility of the firm and its portfolio companies in the marketplace

Qualifications:

• Looking for mature, teachable, and intelligent analyst or associate to complement existing investment team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with growing EQ and a desire to learn
• Always curious self-starter who maintains a high level of excellence and ownership in his/her work. High levels of initiative and personal prioritization/time management required
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into summarized and digestible formats
• Extensive financial modeling and experience in Excel is absolutely mandatory
• 1-4 years of prior career experience; private equity, investment banking or brokerage backgrounds preferred
