Brake Press Operator - Direct Hire

Job Description
We are seeking experienced Brake Press Operators for a local manufacturing facility. These are direct hire openings on 2nd and 3rd shift with OT potential. Our client is offering a competitive starting pay and excellent benefit package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following; other duties may be assigned:

• Set up and operate Press Brake to form parts in accordance with blueprint specifications and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed; Completes forming responsibilities which may include offsets, large radii and standard bends.
• Use inspection gauges such as calipers (both dial and vernier), micrometers, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with inspection tools
• Must have good work history
