Position Overview
Apollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager. In our asset management business, we seek to provide our clients excess return at every point along the risk-reward spectrum from investment grade to private equity with a focus on three investing strategies: yield, hybrid, and equity.
Apollo Insurance Solutions Group (“ISG”) seeks an Associate Director for its El Segundo based headquarters. This is a position in a recently established Deal and Insurance Advisory Group that has been tasked with facilitating the structuring of private credit deals and assisting up- and downstream functional teams with onboarding private credit deals into ISG’s systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure all unique and complex deals are structured in compliance with regulatory and US GAAP and STAT reporting requirements.
- Understand deal documentation and translate key deal terms for entry into ISG’s systems.
- Support front-, middle-, and back-office teams to be able to record new, complex investments and transactions accurately and timely onto ISG’s systems.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy.
- Undertake special projects or initiatives under the wider investment accounting pillar as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting or in industry with an investment accounting and/or investment structuring role.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with (senior) stakeholders, investment professionals and external clients.

Pay Range
$140,000 – $205,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
