Job Summary:
As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing basic clinical care to patients at Baptist Health Urgent Care in Fort Smith, AR. You will greet patients, obtain vital signs, assist with procedures, and complete required documentation related to patient visits. This role requires flexibility in availability, including weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly greet patients and communicate wait times
- Provide solutions to patient problems and assist in emergent situations
- Obtain and document patient vital signs and weight, take brief history, and assist with patient transfers
- Complete required documentation related to patient visits
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
- Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience is preferred
