Mental Health Therapist- Job Summary
Why You Will Love Working With EWC:

  • Competitive salary: Salary option $60,000-$70,000 (LAC, LSW, LAMFT) and $72,000-$82,000 (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) per year dependent on experience in the field, schedule availability, and specialties.
    • Fee-for-service rate: $45 for (LAC, LSW, LAMFT) and $65 for (LCSW, LPC & LMFT).
    • Salaried and Fee-For-Service are both W2 positions.
  • Sign-on bonus: $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time! $7,000 if working with children and full time!
  • Quarterly bonus based on show rate ($1,250 a quarter for salaried position).
  • Flexible scheduling: Full-time, 3 evenings or one weekend and 2 evenings per week.
  • Flexible Locations: Shrewsbury and Manalapan (combination of both locations available)

  • Ongoing Training: We will provide you with all of the tools you need to be successful in doing your best. This includes specialized yearly trainings. We completed GOTTMAN LEVEL 1 training.
Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities:
As a Mental Health Therapist with EWC, you'll have the opportunity to work with clients in the following ways:
  • Provide individual therapy
  • Provide group therapy if the therapist has group therapy experience.
  • Complete a differential diagnosis for clients and refer them to the appropriate program(s) and/or case manager/licensed prescriber for services not under this position's jurisdiction.
  • Create a treatment plan for clients, with ongoing modifications based on client progress in therapy.
  • Prepare clients for the completion of their treatment.
  • Complete administrative tasks including, but not limited to, maintaining case records, documenting all clients contacts and meeting deadlines, responding to outside agency queries regarding client information, etc.
  • Coordinate with appropriate outside agencies regarding client's treatment (i.e., schools, Social Services, probation department, etc.)
  • Act as a client advocate and liaison with community resources.
Here's what EWC is seeking:
  • New Jersey licensed as LPC/LCSW/LMFT or LAC/LSW/LAMFT (required).
  • Candidates with experience in kids ages 10+ (Preferred).
  • Candidates with experience with couples.
  • Able to work 3 evenings or one weekend and two evenings per week.
  • A great personality who can engage easily and offer care to our awesome clients.
  • A hard-working, caring human who is willing to see at least 30 clients per week (for a full-time salaried position).
  • Someone who is responsible, a team player, and looking to grow and learn.
