As a Strategic Sales Executive (SSE), you will serve as the business development lead for CVS Health’s Integrated Prescription Benefit Management offering within the assigned region and within CVS Health’s Integrated Business Unit. As a seasoned healthcare sales professional, you will utilize your years of expertise to grow our business by directly selling to prospective employers, labor funds, and government entities, as well as developing relationships with key healthcare benefit and pharmacy consultants.

You will accomplish this through:

  1. Developing and executing a territory-specific strategic business plan to drive results that exceed targets.
  2. Building relationships with senior level decision makers within the assigned region.
  3. Developing and maintaining a prospect pipeline; meeting with prospects/consultants to build strategic relationships to execute on new business growth.
  4. Selling the value of CVS Health/Aetna while utilizing analytical tools, resources, and demos to differentiate CVS Health/Aetna in the market.
  5. Creating client-specific strategies and leading finalist preparation and presentations to prospective clientele.
  6. Collaborating with internal departments to develop innovative solutions that provide a competitive advantage and positively position CVS Health solutions in the marketplace.

Your success as a Strategic Sales Executive will be driven by your ability to gain new business wins in your market and region. Your understanding of the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) and the managed care environment, along with keeping up to date on market trends, will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers.

The ideal candidate will live in the Northeastern part of the country and must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of PBM sales or account management experience, or 5 years of New Business Development experience in the Healthcare Industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in new business development in the PBM industry.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is: $75,500.00 - $174,134.40. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
