We are seeking creative, highly motivated food science professionals (Junior/Senior Scientist position) to join the team based in Great Boston Area (Framingham, MA).

Job Description and Responsibilities

In this role, focusing on food science-related projects, technology and investment consulting, and technology transfer, you will collaborate with experts from universities, investors, startups, CROs, leading industrial companies, and associations to manage multiple projects spanning the animal and human health sectors.

Key responsibilities include independently completing assigned tasks while effectively collaborating across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food science, food processing, fermentation technology, food preservation, food packaging materials, or food safety testing. A proven track record of innovative, collaborative research is essential, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

· Master’s/Ph.D degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Food Engineering, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Food Processing and Preservation, Food Packaging, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.

· Demonstrated ability to independently work on projects and provide project updates in groups.

· Leadership and self-learning skills ability to multi-task by supporting multiple projects

· Ability to review literature and competitive landscape to proactively propose and initiate projects.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and oral/written communication.

· Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese

· Ability to adapt to flexible working hours due to the nature of working across multiple countries and time zones.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

· Doctor’s degree in related areas

· 2 to 5 years of experience in in vivo and/or in vitro experiments, biology assay development, in-depth experience in immunoassays, including but not limit to: protein engineering, immunoassay, fluorescent assays, label-free assays, CRISPR, NGS, qPCR, LAM-PCR, LAMP, MLPA, SNP array, microarray, gene expression array, bioinformatics, computational biology, and high throughput screening.
