Our designers work closely with clients to solve complex product design challenges. Our UX Design Practice focuses on understanding and optimizing traders’ workflows to deliver beautifully crafted, transformative desktop experiences.

YOU ARE:

  • A great team player
  • Comfortable with working in-person at Adaptive or onsite with clients in Manhattan a few days a week.

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience consulting and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Extensive experience in facilitating workshops and discovery phases
  • The ability to work on all aspects of the design process (discovery, ideation, design)
  • An understanding of electronic trading and financial markets
  • Knowledge of building, maintaining, and working with design systems
  • The ability to quickly design and prototype using Figma
  • An understanding of the value of a workflow-driven design process

YOU WILL:

  • Work alongside a Product Design Strategist to understand the client's vision and strategic design goals.
  • Deliver high-quality visual design artifacts using Figma.
  • Collaborate and communicate designs to client stakeholders and development teams.
  • Solve complex design challenges based on industry expertise and best practices.
  • Understand, extract, and analyze requirements and business workflows.
  • Transform workflows into beautifully crafted high-fidelity Figma prototypes.
  • Utilize, adapt, and maintain design systems according to the clients branding.
  • Iterate on designs and present several concepts based on client feedback.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while delivering polished high-quality designs.
  • Work closely with Adaptive’s Experience Design team for feedback and support.

THE PROCESS:

We want to ensure that everything runs smoothly with our four-stage interview process:

  1. A chat with one of our great recruiters.
  2. A conversation with our local Head of UX Practice.
  3. Review of your portfolio with Adaptive’s awesome UX team.
  4. Final Round interview which includes a short design challenge and a discussion with our local director.
