HBE LLP is seeking an experienced Tax Manager with expertise in Estate and Trust Services to join our expanding team. In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in our firm's evolution, adapting to industry changes and our expanding service offerings. Focused primarily on Estate and Trust services, this position provides the opportunity to engage with a diverse client base and manage various tax compliance and planning responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide services to a wide variety of clients that include individual taxpayers, business entities such as partnerships and corporations, and other return types.
- Develop tax strategies to ensure compliance with local and federal tax laws.
- Identify tax problems and propose solutions.
- May include work on audits, reviews, and compilations related to business clients.
Estate and Trust Focus:
- Manage and oversee tax compliance for estates, trusts, and related entities, ensuring accuracy and timely filing of returns.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis, interpreting tax laws and regulations as they relate to estates and trusts.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients.
- Provide expert advice on estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, charitable giving, and trust administration.
