My client is a leading aircraft leasing company which has an opening for a Senior Accounting Manager. The Senior Manager will oversee key accounting activities connected to the fund's operations. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, coordinating aircraft transaction closings, preparing financial reports, and handling fair market valuation procedures. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fund structures and treasury management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the creation and assessment of fund financial statements and investor updates.
- Oversee cash management functions, including tracking cash flow, maximizing liquidity.
- Direct accounting operations for fund investments and entities owning aircraft.
- Manage and mentor staff, senior accountants, and accounting managers.
- Review quarterly financial reports in compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS regulations.
- Lead technical accounting evaluations for aircraft and leasing transactions.
- Support the financial reporting team by addressing audit-related queries for different entities.
- Review and assist in the preparation of investor capital statements, reports, and communication with investors.
Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A. in Accounting
- Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience (private equity, aircraft leasing, multinational, or global organizations)
- Public accounting experience at a Big-4 firm
- People management experience
