A San Francisco based startup is changing the game in the open-source space and is looking to grow their team and currently looking for a fully onsite Senior Backend Engineer with Infrastructure experience. They are revolutionizing the open source space for engineers that are strong in Python and want to deploy web apps without having to learn traditional web stacks.

You would be working with a funded company where you will be working on an open-source framework to help scale out their backend environment while also working on the infrastructure of the application. Coming out of an early-stage startup, and having deep experience with Python are a huge plus to this position.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer
  • Strong in Python
  • Proficient in scaling out backend environments
  • Proficient working with APIs and Microservices
  • Understanding of Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a startup environment highly preferred
  • Previously having open-source contributions
