Senior P21 Application Developer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior P21 Application Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior P21 Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our P21 applications. You will work closely with a small team of talented individuals to deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

Development

• Design, develop, and implement new P21 applications based on business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest P21 technologies and best practices.
• Integrate third- party systems and API’s into P21 applications.
• Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards within P21.

Maintenance

• Perform regular system maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Identify and resolve application issues promptly.
• Implement security patches and updates.
• Monitor application performance and continuously identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their needs.
• Collaborate with other technical team members to ensure consistency and maintainability of code.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to integrate third-party solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to ELT.

Strategy

• Develop and implement strategies for improving application efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
• Contribute to the overall application architecture and design.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
• Contribute to and in some instances lead the development of long-term application roadmaps and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in P21 application development including experience in WMS implementation
• Strong proficiency in P21 programming languages (e.g., C#, VB.NET).
• Solid understanding of P21 architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
