What you'll do The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice. Identifies patient concerns and communicates to provider, updates patient medical history, pain assessments, ID patient. Demonstrates skills and knowledge when preparing and setting up operatory for procedures and educating patients at the request of the provider. Cross covers and assists front desk as needed. Demonstrates skills and knowledge when interacting with patient and provider with clear concise communication. Prepares patient for scheduled procedure. Decontaminates instruments & equipment. Prepares instruments for sterilization according to policies. Reports damaged or missing instruments. Orders and stocks supplies. Maintains infection control standards. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
