A manufacturer for aerospace parts in Simi Valley is looking to hire an ID Grinder for their second shift.

Location : Simi Valley
Salary : $20.00 $30.00/hr (DOE)
This is a full time temp-to-hire position
Schedule : 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate I.D. grinding equipment and CNC lathe machines
• Ensure part operations meet specifications for first article acceptance
• Perform in-process inspections and maintain accurate records
• Identify and recommend improvements to reduce quality variation
• Continuously optimize processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in I.D. grinding and CNC lathe machining
• Proficient in the use of indicators, profilometers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other inspection tools
• Knowledge of grinding tools and processes, including CBN, aluminum oxides, and diamond wheels
• Ability to maintain close tolerances within .0002-.0005" for precision parts
• Experience in aerospace materials and coatings is a plus
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (per ITAR guidelines)
