A leading manufacturer in Lewis Center, Ohio, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift. As a CNC Machinist, you'll manufacture complex parts using advanced CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders. Your skills in programming, setup, and troubleshooting will ensure high-quality, efficient production.
Shift: Monday- Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Compensation: $24-30/hr + benefits
Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, and other machine shop equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using inspection tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to train on 1st shift for up to 3 months.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to work overtime on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal training or apprenticeship in a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Stand for extended periods (4+ hours daily).
  • Comfortable working around chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, operate, and monitor CNC machines.
  • Perform set-ups based on blueprints and CAD models.
  • Create and modify fixtures for machines using manual equipment.
  • Write and adjust CNC programs to meet product specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machinery to resolve process issues.
  • Conduct quality checks using inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Perform finishing operations and ensure final product meets strict quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
