A leading manufacturer in Lewis Center, Ohio, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift. As a CNC Machinist, you'll manufacture complex parts using advanced CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders. Your skills in programming, setup, and troubleshooting will ensure high-quality, efficient production.
Shift: Monday- Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Compensation: $24-30/hr + benefits

Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, and other machine shop equipment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using inspection tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to train on 1st shift for up to 3 months.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability to work overtime on short notice.
- Formal training or apprenticeship in a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Stand for extended periods (4+ hours daily).
- Comfortable working around chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Program, operate, and monitor CNC machines.
- Perform set-ups based on blueprints and CAD models.
- Create and modify fixtures for machines using manual equipment.
- Write and adjust CNC programs to meet product specifications.
- Troubleshoot machinery to resolve process issues.
- Conduct quality checks using inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Perform finishing operations and ensure final product meets strict quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
