As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging
procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an
in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,
pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques
would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced
imaging applications:

  • cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR,
    peripheral vascular/PVMR ,and or neurovascular- EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL
  • Brain, or Breast, or Prostate
  • * MR Enterography, MR Defecography and
    MR Prostate with endo-rectal coil
  • MR Guided fine needle breast and or
    prostate biopsies.
  • Brain
  • Fibroid tumors

Salary Range: $52.18 - $68.86 Hourly

Qualifications

  • * 3
    years MRI Experience - required
  • * Licenses
    • o ARRT,
      CRT - required. MR certificate required
    • o ARRT,
      ARMRIT (MR) - required
  • * Venipuncture
    certificate - required
  • * BCLS
    from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
  • * Graduate
    from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
  • * AA
    or BS - preferred
  • * Siemens experience - preferred
  • * Demonstrates competence in modifying
    protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.
  • * Demonstrates ability to train
    additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without
    direction themselves.
