We need to HEAT, VENTILATE, and AIR CONDITION our buildings 24/7. Most of the energy consumed in a building is for our comfort, but 50% of it is wasted! This is because buildings have little to no technology to control this.Parity is a Remote HVAC Optimization as a Service company. We remotely control and optimize HVAC systems 24/7/365 to deliver automatic energy savings and revenue to multifamily residential buildings and hotels. Using advanced algorithms, Parity can predict the amount of energy needed ahead of time to operate a building to meet its occupants' demands and adapt the building's systems and machinery in real-time. We save our customers:Time - we automate setpoint adjustments and demand response protocols. Our Pi (Parity Insights) dashboard provides early alerting services when things go down.Money - Parity contractually guarantees the savings that we expect to deliver to our customers. You will learn how to effectively market Parity within the energy efficiency and building automation industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start a career in the Climate Tech space to get hands-on marketing experience. We are looking for someone eager to learn, ready to get to work, and passionate about the climate and energy efficiency . This role has the potential for a direct pathway to a full-time position.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as blog posts, LinkedIn content, email newsletters, and advertisementsOwn the execution and maintenance of the monthly content calendarManage our LinkedIn page by monitoring engagement, responding to comments, and engaging with followersLead in analyzing marketing data to track trends, measure effectiveness, and provide actionable insights by using tools like Google Analytics and HotjarSupport the execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, ABM, and moreHelp coordinate marketing events or webinars, including logistics and outreachLeverage AI tools to find efficiencies and improvements for the marketing teamWork with other departments such as sales, operations, and customer service to support cohesive marketing strategiesConduct market research on competitors and trends in the energy efficiency and building automation industryLearn about energy efficiency and building automation to effectively write and talk about parityQUALIFICATIONS:Prior marketing experience, including a previous internship. Content creation and design work is a plusYou are proficient with Canva and/or Figma. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, and Asana is a plus. We use Google and Microsoft suites.You are excited to learn about how AI is impacting marketing and explore the different tools/use casesYou are detail-oriented, well-organized and have strong communication skillsYou want to grow and learn at a fast-growing Climate Tech startup and have an interest in energy efficiency , building automation, or climate changePreference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria, but we are open to all candidates, including fully remote work.Currently attending, have attended, or graduated from a degree program at a university or college within NY State within 12 months of your start date.NY State residents who currently attend or have graduated from a college or university outside NY State within 12 months of your start date.You can commute to our Midtown Manhattan office 2-3 days a weekCOMPENSATION: $20/hourOTHER GREAT STUFF:Flexible work environment: We offer a mix of in-office and remote work.
