Job Title: Commercial Litigation Attorney

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $195,000+ (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

In this position you will manage a diverse caseload focused on commercial, employment, and environmental litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a collaborative approach to working with internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of commercial, employment, and environmental litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on case strategies and objectives.
• Manage deadlines effectively to meet court and client requirements.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather information pertinent to ongoing cases.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of managing multiple cases simultaneously.
