The Director, Sales Operations & Support is responsible for leading the sales support team and ensuring that our sales support organization operates efficiently and effectively by providing support and resources to internal and external customers. This role will contribute to the development of and oversee the execution of strategies aimed at streamlining sales operations processes, maximizing technology resources, and driving overall sales growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales support team to achieve departmental KPIs and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
- Analyze and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to support sales activities and enhance productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute sales support strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Identify and address gaps in sales support functions and recommend improvements.
- Provide exceptional support to the sales team, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and information needed to succeed.
- Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to facilitate strong communication, adherence to processes and prompt resolution of issues.
- Oversee the implementation and management of sales support tools and technologies.
- Ensure that the team is effectively utilizing Salesforce and other relevant software.
- Analyze reports related to sales performance, support activities, and operational efficiency and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales operations teams.
- Act as an escalation point for customer issues, providing coaching and direction to ensure issues are addressed quickly and effectively.
- Promote and ensure an outstanding level of service to internal and external customers.
- Maintain working knowledge of Tacony products.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 8 years of management experience
- Proven experience in a sales support or sales operations role, with a track record of success in leadership positions
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales support tools
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that drive sales performance and operational efficiency
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Highly proficient with MS Windows environment including Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Effective oral and written communication
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management skills
- Maintain a customer centric mindset with ability to build strong relationship
