Job Description

Reporting to the SVP of Pricing, this position will work with the Business Development team in the planning and execution of new business cost proposals and will also support current contract modifications, quotations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.


Primary Responsibilities

· Evaluate RFP/RFQ/IFBs thoroughly from both commercial clients and government entities using extreme attention to detail to notate cost related items.

· Prepare Q&A documents identifying areas of clarification, discrepancies, errors, etc. and submit to client for answers.

· Utilize Excel-based cost modelling to produce pricing for large proposals as well as smaller task order-type requirements in accordance with RFP/RFQ/IFB requirements for submission to prospective customers.

· Produce written price narratives thoroughly detailing each cost item within submitted cost proposals.

· Coordinate with various functional groups, including HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, Billing, and Operations in collecting and analyzing cost and non-cost data.

· Utilize meticulous attention to detail throughout pricing process to substantiate cost estimates with hard supporting data, record assumptions made and rationalize pricing decisions to management.

· Prepare and present cost summary briefing for management review and sign-off of proposals.

· Support and participate in cost proposal negotiations and develop annual modifications for existing awarded client contracts.

· Engage in discussions with Pricing Team to re-evaluate and identify areas of improvement for pricing strategies, processes, and models.

· Provide support to the Pricing and Contract Administration team as well as Business Development team in any other areas of government or commercial pricing and contract administration.

· Produce ad-hoc quotes and cost estimates as needed

· Perform ad-hoc business analysis including but not limited to analysis of contract staffing, pay & bill discrepancies, market compensation analysis, internal contract budgeting, monthly and/or annual financial analysis of income statements, and more as needed.


Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with interest in Cost Accounting and Financial Analysis preferred

· 0-2 years of related experience with a focus on pricing, analysis, and modeling desired.

· Experience reading and interpreting commercial & governmental RFPs/RFQs/IFBs highly desired

· Strong quantitative skills including Intermediate-to-Advanced Excel and MS Word skills required

· Must take a Microsoft Excel skill test demonstrating proficiency with If Statements, Index & Match (single & multiple criteria), Sumproduct, weighted averages, etc.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with executive level management

· Ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, and fully-supported reports

· High degree of accuracy and attention to details is a must-have quality

· Ability to read and comprehend technical reports/documents

· Strong sense of urgency and dedication to meeting deadlines and ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment that often requires multi-tasking and prioritization of work

· Self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team

· Must be willing to work extended hours when necessary

· Fully remote position
