Job Summary: Concur Travel In-House Administrator

The Concur Travel In-House Administrator will manage and optimize corporate travel operations using the Concur Travel platform. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the travel booking system, ensuring smooth travel management that complies with company policies and budget constraints. The administrator will handle user support, system troubleshooting, vendor management, and reporting, while continuously improving travel processes and policy enforcement.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Travel System Administration/Management:

  • System Administration: Administer the Concur Travel and Expense platform, ensuring all features are fully functional and optimized for user experience.
  • User Management: Oversee user access by setting up new accounts, modifying existing ones, and ensuring secure access to the platform.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, liaising with Concur support as necessary.
  • System Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to the travel program by leveraging new Concur features and integrations.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with travel vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze travel reports to monitor spending, compliance, and trends, offering recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.

Policy Enforcement:

  • Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to travel policies by updating and enforcing rules within Concur to reflect policy changes.
  • Policy Communication: Clearly communicate travel policies and procedures across the company and to individual travelers.
  • Support: Provide guidance on company travel policies and address any related inquiries.

Training and Support:

  • Training: Conduct initial and ongoing training for employees on how to effectively use the Concur system.
  • User Support: Provide assistance with travel bookings and support for any related issues, including company events.
  • Training Materials: Develop and update user-friendly training materials to facilitate employee understanding of the Concur platform.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Concur administrator or in a similar travel management role.
