Firebird AST is seeking an onsite TS/SCI with CI Poly cleared senior Counterterrorism Analyst to support a U.S. Government client. This is for a pending contract. Contract award is anticipated early 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all-source intelligence analysis of DoD datasets to identify and nominate KSTs not the National Terrorist Watch listing system.
  • Develop DoD recommendations for the no-fly, selectee, or other national terrorist watch lists as appropriate, to fulfill the DoD component of Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs).
  • Produce analytic reports using DIA’s Watchlisting Data Organizer (WATCHDOG) and/or other internal DIA production tools.
  • Track, manage, and onboard all new hires through detailed training course and maintain training requirements, records, class schedules in accordance with DIA regulations, procedures, and protocols.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, intelligence exchanges, roundtables, working groups, and other types of analytic exchanges in support of DIA’s Watchlisting mission.

REQUIRED

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
  • Specialized training and bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degree
  • All-Source Analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • An in-depth understanding of the intelligence cycle.
  • Experience with ODNI’s analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, and 208.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.
  • Experience using the following tools: NGT, TAC, RMT, CRATE and CHROME.

PREFERRED

  • Master’s Degree
  • PACE
  • ODNI’s Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Qualification (IFPC)
  • Knowledge of USCENTCOM and DIA product lines
  • Deployment experience in the USCENTCOM

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, policy, legal documents, etc.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations to company management and customer(s).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic and innovative thinker, and passion for the mission.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
