Hotel Director Of Finance

Exciting opportunity to join the Hilton Jackson as our Hotel Director of Finance. The Director will prepare monthly financial statements, variance reports, G/L reconciliations, bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and other reports as determined by the General Manager & Regional Controller. Responsibilities:

1. Managing the accounts department: This includes overseeing budgets, cash flow, and audits.
2. Producing financial reports: Hotel controllers regularly generate financial statements on the hotel's current financial status and may also forecast future revenue.
3. Controlling expenses: This includes payroll and ensuring compliance with state and local laws.
4. Safeguarding assets: This may include managing storeroom inventory and auditing invoices and requisitions.

Qualifications:

1. Prior hotel accounting experience required.
2. Strong understanding of the month-end closing process.
