As a Data Analyst at our manufacturing plant in Frederick, MD, you will play a vital role in the success of our Clinical Next-Gen Sequencing Division (CSD). With a focus on quality and attention to detail, you will be responsible for creating and managing digital daily tier management system for all functions within operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the production of high-quality products, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and accurate results. A day in the Life:
- Developing Digital Tier Daily Management (DTDM) database and boards for multiple teams to support DTDM deployment at Frederick site.
- Collecting and organizing data from various sources; Analyzing data by using statistical methods and data visualization techniques; Collaborating with teams to develop data-driven strategies.
- Using low-code programming tool to develop customized applications according to business requirement, generate data and visualize with Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Identifying trends and patterns; working with different function team to create customized reports and presentations to communicate findings/problems to team.
- Maintaining databases and staying up to date on industry trends and standard methodologies in data analysis.
- Assist in improving and implementing Production Floor metric tracking and Visibility tools.
- Generation of standard work, support of routing times for production.
- Support new production initiatives within given timelines.
- Liaise with Operations staff and other functional areas to meet project objectives.
- Support / lead PPI transformation projects.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of industry experience.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent skills with MS Excel, Smartsheet, SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic programming language, C# and SQL a plus.
- Previous experience with ChatGPT and AI platforms a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and cGMP's.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and lead through sophisticated processes/projects.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proven analytical and statistical problem-solving skills, including data handling and relational database programming.
