React Developer

Project description

Luxoft is looking for a React Full Stack Developer who will be working with our Customer - one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is collaborating with Luxoft on a full-scale upgrade of their technology.

Responsibilities

1. Work in a SCRUM team, closely with the client and business analysts, to quickly understand new requirements and help identify changes to the system.
2. Develop and present recommendations based on analysis of the current solution. Assist in code peer reviews, and build and test functional enhancements.
3. Identify areas for code refactoring and review/contribute to the development process and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the development team activities.
4. Demonstrate strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Be responsible for full-stack development of Java and React code to meet specifications and designs, using best practices to develop a world-class web services code-base.
6. Perform effort estimation and task breakdown - estimating the cost of implementing new changes and identifying risks.

SKILLS

Must have

1. Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language.
2. Broad experience with modern JS frameworks, particularly React; Angular and jQuery are nice to have.
3. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; AWS Aurora/Postgres SQL preferred.
4. Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Fargate, S3, EFS, and Lambda.
5. Ability to build and deploy CI/CD AWS code pipeline to deploy microservices in AWS.

Nice to have

Exposure to machine learning.
