Software Solution Consultant
The Software Solution Consultant will elicit and produce Software project requirements for customer sign-off and subsequently work with applicable Swisslog teams to ensure those requirements are understood and met.

The Solution Consultant will carry out the duties described in this document while ensuring they drive value, standardization, cost-effectiveness, and supportability of Swisslog Software offerings across Swisslog WDS Americas for all its customers.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert of the current Swisslog Software Product Suite functionality and its operation
  • Understand what it would take to customize each functional area
• Have a working knowledge of the current Swisslog Controls Product Suite
• Lead Requirements Gathering Workshops with customers
• Produce Functional Specifications
• Produce Host Interface Specifications
• Manage requirements gaps with Change Orders
• Produce and maintain material used for requirements gathering
• Provide requirement management support to other applicable teams

Application Requirements

• Degree in engineering and/or computer science
• Have working knowledge of the Warehouse and Distribution business sector
• Have at least five years experience in providing Software and/or Controls solutions
• Have working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
• Have working knowledge of Material Flow Control Systems

• Other software/controls product SME certification
• Have working knowledge of PLC controls and control logic
• Have experience in defining, procuring, installing and maintaining IT Hardware, Controls Hardware and their supporting infrastructure
