Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Brand Manager – Tropicana OJ to support the US Marketing team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.
This role will be responsible for supporting the Tropicana orange juice business, which aims to drive growth by leveraging our historic legacy and pushing the brand into a modern era. The Tropicana OJ Brand Manager will be responsible for owning and optimizing our commercial execution, including optimizing packs, channels, in-store execution, and more. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the strategy development and annual plan designed to maintain leadership position in OJ through retaining and recruiting consumers.
- Recommend changes to in-year execution and/or identify new opportunities based on performance indicators.
- Identify the optimal portfolio and business expansion opportunities across channels, regions, and retailers based on current brand performance, competition, and consumer need state segmentation.
- Lead cross-functional team through launch of new product and packaging innovation and visID changes.
- Work collaboratively with the commercial team for the development of price, promotion, and channel strategy plans.
- Translate business strategies into compelling business briefs to guide internal teams on development and execution of marketing communications plans that deliver to the brand goals, objectives and strategies.
- Work collaboratively with marketing services and agencies to develop marketing materials and execution plans.
- Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation.
- Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business/ Marketing; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Marketing, preferably in CPG industry.
- Must be located in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required.
- Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future.
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies.
- Track record of delivering growth results.
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and comfortability leading teams including Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, Planning, etc.
- Ability to thrive in a fast pace agile environment with limited direction and balance competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product.
- Ability to elevate work and present to executive leadership.
- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
- Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity.
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions.
- Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
